Suzhou is adjacent to Shanghai, China and is a cultural city with a history of 2,500 years. Founded in 1994, Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) is the flagship economic cooperative project between the governments of China and Singapore, and ranked the 1st in the “Comprehensive Assessment of National Economic Development Zones by Chinese Ministry of Commerce” from 2017~2019. Furthermore, SIP has also been a pilot zone in China in numerous fields: Comprehensive trial of opening-up and innovation; Trade liberalization and functional improvement, Promoting outbound investment from Yangtze River Delta Region, etc.
SIP has attracted nearly 5000 MNCs, including 92 Fortune 500 companies. Moreover, Roughly 30 Swiss companies have settled in SIP, including Roche, Nestlé, E+H, Georg Fisher, Oerlikon, etc.
